This website was created to give WMCR, the Monmouth College student-run radio station, a better appearance on the web. The old site was not easy to update, lacked aesthetically pleasing content, and did not convey the station as fresh or professional.

My team determined that this site should be a resource for station managers as well as for students, faculty, alumni, and the public. We accomplished this by creating specific sections of the site for students currently working for the station. The new site encourages students to listen to the station, be aware of upcoming events on campus, and get involved with WMCR. It informs the public of WMCR's mission, and directs them to pertinent information. The site accomplishes all these tasks using small, scannable paragraphs that are designed with the browsing habits of the average Internet user in mind.

I personally oversaw the art direction, site navigation, and overall "feel" of the site. In addition, I wrote copy for the pages, assisted with the promotional flyer featured on the site, and acted as group leader for the web design team. Overall, the site's design portrays WMCR as a hip, yet professional, organization and suits the audiences it was meant for. NOTE: The WMCR site is best viewed in Internet Explorer 7 or Mozilla Firefox.
